Warning code and meaning
warn! If a warning appears, the welding will be automatically aborted, which may cause wear of the pipe fittings.
Ritmo S.p.A. declares that if the machine is dismantled privately after a warning, Ritmo will not be responsible.
Power warning
Warning 1- Power cord
Possible cause: The voltage exceeds the allowable range of the machine
Vmin= 95V¸Vmax= 138V (110V)
Vmin= 195V¸Vmax= 265V (230V)
Method: Check the power supply.
Warning 2-Frequency
Possible cause: The power exceeds the allowable range of the machine
Fmin= 50Hz ¸ Fmax= 60Hz
Method: Check power source Check power
Warning 8- Insufficient voltage
Possible cause: the socket is disconnected
Method: Connect the socket and the power supply
Possible cause: power supply interruption
Method: Wait for power to reconnect
Possible cause: the safety switch is interrupted
Method: Reinstall the safety switch
Warning 10- Operator interrupted the welding machine
Reason: The operator pressed the STOP button
Electrofusion pipe fitting warning
Warning 80-Welding output voltage is out of control
Reason: The voltage exceeds the allowable range of the machine
Method: Check the characteristics of the power supply
Warning 100-The current exceeds the maximum allowable current
Reason: short circuit of electric heating wire of fused pipe fittings
Method: Replacement of electrofusion pipe fittings
Warning 200-The current is less than the minimum allowable current
Reason: One or two wires fell off during the electrofusion process
Method: Connect the wires and perform soldering again.
Reason: The resistance of the fused pipe is interrupted
Method: Replace the electrofusion pipe fittings and re-weld
Reason: the electric fusion pipe fittings are too small (too much resistance)
Method: Use compatible fused pipe sleeves
Warning 400-Heating wire for electrofusion fittings
Reason: The heating wire of the electrofusion pipe fitting exceeds the allowable range (this situation may occur during the operation of reading barcodes/importing barcodes manually)
Method: Use compatible electrofusion fittings
Warning 800-Heating wire for electrofusion fittings
Reason: The heating wire of the electrofusion pipe fitting exceeds the allowable range (this situation may occur during the operation of manually introducing voltage/time)
Method: Use compatible electrofusion fittings
Warning 1000-Short circuit
Reason: the fused pipe sleeve is damaged
Method: Replace the electrofusion pipe fittings and restart the welding procedure.
Temperature warning
Warning 20-The ambient temperature is out of range (when the machine is in standby)
Reason: The ambient temperature is out of range (-10°C - +40°C)
Method: Protect the workplace and keep the temperature within the specified range
Warning 40-Overheating of the welding machine (when the machine is on standby)
Reason: After an electrofusion welding, the machine reached a very high temperature
Method: Wait for the welding to cool down
Warning 2000-Overheating of the welder (during electrofusion welding)
Reason: The temperature of the circuit board is very high
Method: wait for the circuit to cool down, and re-soldering
Warning 4000-Transformer overheating (during electrofusion welding)
Reason: the transformer temperature is very high
Method: wait for the transformer to cool down, and re-soldering
Internal warning
Warning 1-Calibration (when turning on the machine)
Reason: internal error
Method: Contact the designated repair center
ALARM 2-Memory
Reason: internal error

Warning 4-Internal Chronograph
